The Suite op. 28 is a commissioned work of the "Brandenburgischer Musiksommer“. Its original version was composed for "The 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra". The version for string orchestra op. 28a was designed for grand symphonic orchestra as well as for chamber orchestra and solo ensemble.

This work was premiered by the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra at the 19th of August 2000 on occasion of the "Brandenburgischer Musiksommer“.

The "Variações Brasileiras" were composed 1980 by Kaiser-Lindemann originally under the actual subtitle "Bossa nova filarmónica" for 6 Celli. In 2006, he arranged the work for 12 violoncellos, commissioned by the 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic, for a CD production of the "EMI classics" with pieces that had Latin America as their theme. The specification here was that it was in Latin-American atmosphere on classical-symphonic ground and that it should be highly virtuosic for each player. Thus, each of the twelve cellists is a protagonist here, each in his part equally melodic, as well as virtuous bravura facets. The recording was released on the CD "South American Getaway".

The symphonic poem „HODOS - en pente" is the last completed composition by Kaiser-Lindemann. The title Titel is based on ancient Greek and essentially means „Moving in intervals of five". The work was performed for the first time on the 5th of September 2010 in the "Kieler Schloss" by the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel conducted by Georg Fritzsch.

The Heroes' Symphony op. 72, composed in 1936, is to be understood as a tribute to the soldiers who died in the World War. The later deliberately misinterpreted patriotic stance of the composer Ferndinand Wilhelm Kranzhoff directs, in the words of German poets, our gaze to the German nation on behalf of all victims of a senseless slaughter for the aims of an unscrupulous political elite.
As the composer, only 36 years old, fell in combat barely four years later at the beginning of the Second World War, this work seems like a foreboding foresight into one's own fate.

The sacred song "Three holy women went" was composed in 1926 by Kranzhoff in the form of a canon on a pre-Reformation text.

This chanson Sei ein Teil von mir (Be a part of me) from 2014 was released in 2015 on the CD Eigenlieder - Blau auf Grau. Here is an adaptation of the chanson in bossa nova style.
