“I wrote this lullaby for my granddaughter Romina. But in this form as a four-part canon, the piece goes beyond the usual - it's hard to imagine that seven people gather around a cot and sing to the baby, in different languages at that. Non ti toc-chi il Corona, you only want to be loved. Global.”

Songs by the Kiel composers Heinrich Andreas Kellner and Nicolaus Theodor Reimer in the Göttingen collection “Euphrosyne”.

This first critical edition contains extensive explanations of the composers and the song collection. Some of the songs are included on the CD “Kieler Liedgut around 1800”.

„Land der dunklen Wälder“ (country of the dark woods) is the final choral of the "Oratorium der Heimat" (Oratory of the Homeland) by Herbert Brust. It became the state anthem of East Prussian in the early 1930s due to its rapidly growing publicity. Here it is arranged for piano/organ by Wilhelm Kaiser-Lindemann.
