Wilhelm Mohr's Psalm 24 "Machet die Tore weit" (Lift up your heads, O ye gates) op. 3 for mixed choir, large orchestra and organ with children's choir ad lib. is a powerful music in the late romantic tradition. Its grandly structured line leads finally in the well known Advent carol "Macht hoch die Tür" (Open the Door High), to sing optionally by a children's choir but even accompanied by the congregation.

Original piano reduction by the composer of his op 33 "Multas per gentes“.

This work was originally (2004) planned as 6 pieces for 6 to 8 part mixed choir with piano accompaniment based on Latin words by Gaius Valerius Catullus. Kaiser-Lindemann just realised one of them, the Carmen 101 "Multas per gentes“, that was left in the presented version for mixed choir and symphony orchestra.

The Ricercar originally composed for organ by Johann Pachelbel was arranged for strings by Wilhelm Kaiser-Lindemann.

Großmann's concerto for alto saxophon and orchestra "Orion's belt" is a commissioned work by the orchestral workshop norddeutsche sinfonietta on occasion of the 200th birthday of Adolphe Sax, the designer of the saxophone. The Première took place on 15th of february 2014 in the festival hall of the Freie Waldorfschule in Rendsburg, Germany.

The composition is structured in three movements, which are named after the three the three bright stars of Orion's belt Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka. All three names from the Arabic language are refering to terms as link, belt, conjunction. Precisely this ist reflected by the composition: the conjunction, cross-border merging of various musical styles as well as the thematic relationships among the three movements. Improvisation in music has been significantly influenced by the Sax especially by Jazz. And thus Jazz sounds meet classical inspired music in this concert. Enriched with elements of contemporary music such as Ligeti's "Melodies for Orchestra" all three elements are merging to something new, yet unheard, in which the musicans are acting as orchestra on the one hand and as big band on the other. In this respect, the composer deliberately makes ambiguous reference with his title selection "Band des Orion" to "das Band" the belt of Orion as well as "die Band" the performing orchestra.

Robert Schumann's famous "Träumerei" (Dreaming) from the "Kinderszenen" (Scenes from Childhood) op. 15 for piano was arranged for string orchestra by Wilhelm Kaiser-Lindemann.

O Magnum Mystery (O Great Mystery), the fourth responsorial chant from the Vigil at Christmas as a four-part motet by Thomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611).

The terzet "Hebe deine Augen auf" and the double quartet "Denn er hat seinen Engeln" from the famous "Elias“ op. 70 as arrangement for 12 Violoncelli by Wilhelm Kaiser-Lindemann.
