The rediscovery of the monumental church opera "König Salomo" (King Salomon) composed by Ludwig Meinardus, a pupil of Mendelssohn Bartholdy, by the North German church musican and music publisher Norbert Klose had made it possible to perform this work after 130 years prolonged disappearance. In October of 2010 two concerts took place in the German cities Bad Oldesloe and Hohenwestedt with great public interest, which provided the material for this world premiere recording.
